The 2023 edition of the Blue Heron Regatta will be a change in format.
No more mass start, rowing 5k upstream to the start hen racing back.
We decided to switch to a stake race format, with the start and finish line at the same location, a head race style and a set of buoys 2500 meters upstream marking the turn around point.
In response to popular demand we are adding 2X categories.
